Positions People Hold With Money

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 

                                                                      - 1 Timothy 6:10

1. Greed

• This is the product of idolatry and envy.
• It is an uncontrollable desire to have more.

2. Envy

• Comparing what you have with what others have.
• Wishing that other peoples wealth and material possessions were yours.
• A heart at peace gives life to the body,
  but envy rots the bones (Proverbs 14:30)

3. Idolatry

• Making money central to your life.
• Devoting time, energy and attention to its gain and use.
• Regarding money as key to having power

4. Neutrality

• Money by itself has no morality associated with it, it is our attitude towards it and what we do with it that counts.
